- I believe the LocalTalk driver (at least in the past) treated the modem
- port differently, and occasionally checked the SCC to see if there was
- modem port input buffered.

- Anyhow, I think it's time to change the name of this thread. I've been
- running with a Supra FaxModem for quite some time without problems, and
- feel that the Supra has a good track record (especially considering
- competitors in its price range).
